    Dear Readers,
‘They’ weren’t kidding that 2017 would be a wild ride! It is unprecedented what we’re experiencing – from the Solar Eclipse in August, to the floods and fury produced by Harvey. Whether or not we were in direct line of these events, we were all affected by them. If you’ve been in any spiritual practice for any length of time, you likely know the principle that we are all connected. Like dropping a pebble in a pond, the ripples go out and out, impacting all things in the pond. And so it is with us. The Earth is our pond. What happens in one area happens to all areas. You can choose denial and bury your head in the sand, but darkness, in any of its forms, is a call to prayer. I used to do everything I could think of first and if none of that worked, I would pray. But, after going around that mountain too many times, I finally learned that the first thing I/we need to do is pray! This issue is all about prayer.

This reminds me of my work with clients in my intuitive interior design field who have said to me, “I’ve tried everything I could think of (for help with my problem), and now I’m trying Feng Shui.” My question is, why not do the correct thing in the first place? And why don’t we pray about our situations first? Need a prayer partner? See Joyce Meyer Ministries announcement on page 11, and please join in the Annual Unity World Prayer Day is being celebrated by people around the globe, this year on 9-14-17. It is a good reminder of the power of prayer! (See page 18 for more information.)

Let’s all step up to the Light and pray for Peace, Love and Healing – for ourselves and for the world. Years ago (before enlightenment, I say smiling), I used to think, “Is that all I can do is pray?” And now, after listening to the angels’ advice all these years, I’ve come to know that prayer is the most beneficial thing we can do as human beings. Like Dorothy’s fairy godmother in the Wizard of Oz said to her, “You had the power all along, dear.” Let’s please come together and use it.
